Over the last month or so, I've captured some curious creatures on digicam. I hadn't really seen a mantis this big...

Of course, there are plenty of spiders here. This one was in the pool:

Not to be outdone by last year's yellow garden spider, we found one at our new house too:

And this slug was hanging out on a note Heather found outside:
