Camping and Stuff

Last weekend we went camping in Cary. We picked out a nice campsite overlooking the lake and had a great time "being one with nature," and by that I mean sleeping on, chopping, burning, and using nature.
I've been really busy with work lately, as I may be soon transitioning into some new responsibilities. We'll see how it goes.
Heather's been hard at work too at her new job. I'm happy for her that she can finally like going to work instead of worrying about what stupid thing is going to happen next.
Here are some pics to dig into...

An overview of our campsite on Lake Jordan.

Me stoking up a hell of a fire.

Another shot of the campsite.

Follow the path down to the lake and you could find a Heather sitting on a rock overlooking Lake Jordan.

If you get up close to the Heather on the rock, she may even let you near her feet.

This one is from our back porch... first time I've seen a black widow in the wild. We killed it with some bug spray. It's still out there where we found it... dead, motionless. We're considering sticking it under the microscope... hmm.
Until next time.
