Charlotte Trip, Part 2

It was a nice trip for day 1, but day 2 was a nightmare. It was game day in downtown Charlotte (NFL game) and we only wanted to stop at the Charlotte Convention Center to check out a trade show that my employer is participating in.
Heather and I agreed that it was good to have experienced it, though, as it gives us a "dose of reality" about what it'd really be like to live in that large of a city, with pro sports teams calling the place home.
Anyway, Heather did find a cool location called the US National Whitewater Center. We went there and walked around a bit, went on a bike/hiking trail and checked out the kayak and rafting training center.
